The past few weeks have been crazy, with work, hunting, and caring for our little one (though not so little anymore, he is 7 months already!) Owen is growing up to fast, it is hard to believe. He now has four teeth. We bought him some little puffs (which are kindof like cheerios) and he loves them. He is getting good at picking them up on his own. I cannot wait to let him eat meals with us, though I do give him some of what we are eating occassionally. He has discovered that he can growl, so it sounds like we have a dinosaur living with us. Misisng everyone and lots of love.

Bowhunter in the making. His first trophy, toy elephant :) Matt gave him an old grunt call this past week, he loves it. We cannot wait until he can go out hunting too. Starting this early, he will be a hunting machine by time he is old enough.
Matt got his first buck of the year and two does prior. Good thing, our freezer was down to about 4 or 5 pounds of ground venison. Amazingly we went through about five deer worth of meat this past year. Matt has got two more buck tags to go (one in Kansas and a late muzzleloader here in Iowa) We are going down to Kansas this next weekend and can hopefully both get something. I got to go out once last weekend while Matt babysat. We will have lots of babysitter in Kansas so me getting to go will not be a problem!
