We took a short family vacation to Omaha Nebraska back in June this summer. We spent one day at the zoo and the next playing in the hotels kiddie water park. It was a good, yet short, vacation, just the three of us (well technically four) We had a great time and the weather was perfect.
Owen loved looking at all the animals at the zoo. We were there for about six hours, well past his nap time, and he did wonderful.
We took him on the train ride. He was so excited, jumping around and talking about the train as we waited in line.
He was zonked within 2 minutes of leaving the zoo. Matt and I drove to a wildlife drive-thru safari while he was sleeping so he would be well rested before going to dinner.

It was a great couple days. Cannot wait to go on more vacations as a family.
